In this episode I explore my favourite midwifery text The Court Midwife written in 1690 by German midwife Justine Siegemund.

Justine frequently refers to the will of God in her text and I ask the question of whether this is her way of avoiding being accused of witchcraft or whether it is true devotion to God.
